I think I'm going to keep lumping these gameplay-related questions together, just because.
Day 11: Favorite Level
If I had to pick one, I think I would choose 3-F or 4-E from Radian Dawn. Okay, I ended up choosing two anyway. RD really has a lot of really interesting/fun maps, imo - so my favorite would have to be from there. (As for the least interesting maps, that'd be FE6 - seize seize seize - so I know for certain I won't need to consider its chapters at all.)
Both 3-F and 4-E are very interesting storywise, and indeed, they also tend to interrupt the gameplay with little story-related bits, which is most likely one of the reasons I enjoy them so much. For 3-F, I also really like the concept of fighting one of your own armies, and the counter in the upper-right corner of the screen as well as the constant heartbeat-like sound in the background do a really good job of making the chapter feel more tense and urgent. The music definitely helps, too; Eternal Bond is one of my (if not the) favorite map themes, and The Devoted is probably my favorite normal attack theme in the entire series. And... while you don't really get to see many of them on most playthroughs, the conversations the GMs can have when attacking the DB are often interesting, and sometimes just plain sad. (Though I think I would have preferred it if Radiant Dawn didn't hide so much of its story behind these enemy conversations. A lot of them are just really hard to get, and some are actually impossible without cheating, like the infamous Nailah-Tibarn convo.)
4-F is definitely the most amazing final chapter in any FE to date, imo. Being divided into a total of five parts only makes it even better! And there are lots of twists and revelations in the storyline during the chapter, too. I also enjoy picking out an "elite" team to bring to the tower and messing around with the skills and weapons in preparation for the last part of the game. And, uh, I probably also really like the fact that the units you'll be using at that point will all be completely overpowered and ORKO most of the map. I just really enjoy using godlike units! It really makes you feel like all that leveling paid off - which, to be honest, is what I like with RPGs as a genre; the inverse difficulty curve appeals to me for whatever reason.
Also I kind of have to mention Light and Dark from FE4, if only for the music. Pretty much tied with Eternal Bond for the best map theme. I could listen to it forever~ (and it totally makes up for the rest of the craziness in that chapter, like Julius and Ishtar's insane stats and all those annoying status staff-users)
Day 12: Favorite Class
Mages!
I just love mages! One of my favorite characters from each of the FE games inevitably ends up being a mage. In FE6, it's Lilina. In FE7, it's Erk. In FE8, there's Lute, and FE9/10 has Soren. Perhaps because they tend to share certain personality traits? Intelligence is probably the first one that comes to mind, and, well. I tend to like intelligent characters. It's an admirable trait, for rather obvious reasons. Other than that, I suppose I like their designs, too. I just really like robes and capes for some reason. They're really cool. Idek why, they just are ♥ Oh, and mages also tend to have awesome critical animations. Another point in their favor!
(I'm kind of wondering if I should add an FE4 tag or not, but... I'm kind of holding off on adding one because I probably won't talk about it too much. Hmm. On the other hand, that doesn't explain why I do have an FE6 tag.)
Edit: eh, why not? I'll add an FE4/5 tag. I'll probably get to use it when I get around to playing FE5, too.
