Supports.

I realize this is a very predictable answer, but I can't help but to look at this list and immediately go ;_____; at all the wasted potential. I would love to see so many of these support convos, especially some of the more unexpected ones - CalillxHeather, CalillxSoren, ShinonxMist, EdwardxLeanne, EdwardxSanaki, EnaxVolug, ElinciaxRanulf, ElinciaxNailah, ElinciaxPelleas, FionaxLaura, FionaxLeanne, GeoffreyxKyza, GarethxVika, HaarxPelleas, HeatherxMist, IkexNailah, JillxNealuchi, KieranxLyre, KyzaxMeg, KurthnagaxSkrimir, LyrexTitania, MordecaixOliver, NasirxStefan, VolugxSoren, VolugxMia, the list of interesting ideas goes on and on.

For some of these, I think I may have a vague idea of what IS were thinking - CalillxSoren would mostly likely have something to do with the comment she made in her support with Tormod in PoR about Soren being a spirit charmer, and then probably have Soren proving her wrong; ShinonxMist makes some sense, since Shinon has a bit of a soft spot for children and knows Mist well; ElinciaxPelleas might deal with them both having been in very similar situations before, desperately trying to reclaim their country while relying on the help of others; IkexNailah would probably be fun to see, since Nailah is basically a female Ike (personality-wise). and also because Nailah is awesome

Others, though, leave me scratching my head in confusion (or maybe just morbid curiosity). EdwardxSanaki? EnaxVolug? GeoffreyxKyza? KurthnagaxSkrimir? I have no idea where the ideas for these conversations came from, but suffice it to say that I'd love to see them. ... well, I guess that'll never happen, but. :(

I do kind of wish I could learn more about assembly hacking/hex editing in order to create a support patch of some kind. That would be amazing. Unfortunately... I'm a newbie programmer and know next no nothing about both of these things. That's not even mentioning the fact that I have no idea about how patches for games are created and that it's next to impossible to find any real information on how to begin studying this particular subject. Oh, and then there's also the problem of it probably being illegal - which I admittedly couldn't care less about, but still. One can dream, I suppose.

So, the supports! I just restarted RD today and playing the DB's chapters always makes me feel sad, because I know most of the characters aren't going to get the screentime they deserve. Well, I suppose that's what fandoms are for, though - fanon is quite useful in developing unappreciated characters at times. FE fandom doesn't seem to be overly fanon-crazy, though, which is a little surprising given the gigantic casts of most of the games. (But I guess you can never really expect something quite as crazy as, say, the Touhou fandom when it comes to fanon, where the characters' personalities are practically made and decided upon by the fans themselves, rather than the actual games.)
